2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. User-Generated Content (UGC)
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload, post, or stream through GamerNova (including images, text, and audio). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with operating the platform.
You agree NOT to upload content that is:
- Illegal, highly offensive, or promotes hate speech.
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, or contains extreme violence.
- Copyrighted material for which you do not have permission to use.
We reserve the right to remove any content and ban accounts without prior notice.
4. Third-Party Integrations
GamerNova utilizes official APIs from third-party services such as Twitch (Twitch Interactive, Inc.) and Steam (Valve Corporation). By linking these accounts, you agree to their respective Terms of Service. GamerNova is an independent entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch or Valve.
5. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Communication & IP Addresses
GamerNova offers free Voice, Video, and Screensharing features via standard WebRTC Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology. By using P2P features, you acknowledge that a direct connection is established between your device and the devices of other participants in the call. This means your public IP address may be visible to other users in that specific call.
If you require strict IP masking and privacy, you must use communities hosted on our Server-Routed (SFU) network (GamerNova Plus+).
6. Limitation of Liability
GamerNova is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a mandatory notification upon your next login.

Es ist strengstens untersagt, Inhalte hochzuladen, die:

Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, Inhalte zu entfernen und Konten ohne Vorankündigung zu sperren.
4. Drittanbieter-Integrationen
GamerNova nutzt offizielle APIs von Drittanbietern wie Twitch (Twitch Interactive, Inc.) und Steam (Valve Corporation). Durch die Verknüpfung dieser Konten stimmen Sie den jeweiligen AGB der Plattformen zu. GamerNova ist ein unabhängiges Projekt und wird weder von Twitch noch von Valve gesponsert oder unterstützt.
5. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Kommunikation & IP-Adressen
Für unsere kostenlosen Sprach-, Video- und Screensharing-Funktionen nutzen wir den WebRTC Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Standard. Bei der Nutzung von P2P wird eine direkte Verbindung zwischen Ihrem Endgerät und den anderen Teilnehmern aufgebaut. Das bedeutet, dass Ihre öffentliche IP-Adresse für andere Nutzer in diesem Anruf sichtbar sein kann.
Wenn Sie strikten Schutz Ihrer IP-Adresse benötigen, müssen Sie auf Server-Routierte (SFU) Orbits (GamerNova Plus+) ausweichen.
6. Haftungsbeschränkung
Die Nutzung von GamerNova erfolgt auf eigenes Risiko. Wir übernehmen keine Garantie für eine ununterbrochene, sichere oder fehlerfreie Bereitstellung der Dienste. Wir haften nicht für indirekte, zufällige oder Folgeschäden, die aus der Nutzung der Plattform entstehen.
7. Änderungen der AGB
Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, diese Bedingungen jederzeit anzupassen. Wesentliche Änderungen werden per E-Mail oder durch eine obligatorische Bestätigung beim nächsten Login mitgeteilt.
2. Data We Collect and Process
We collect only the data necessary to provide you with the GamerNova platform:
- Account Data: Email address, username, hashed password.
- Profile Data: Avatars, biography texts, and social links.
- Usage Data: IP addresses (temporarily logged for security and rate-limiting purposes), browser type, and "last seen" timestamps to show online status.
- Content: Chat messages, community configurations, calendar events, and uploaded media.
3. Third-Party API Data (Twitch & Steam)
If you choose to link your Twitch or Steam accounts, we retrieve public profile data, viewer counts, live status, and game libraries using their official APIs. We only store data required to display your streaming status and game shelf. You can revoke this access at any time in your profile settings, which will delete the linked data from our servers.
4. Voice and Video Calls (WebRTC)
When using our free Peer-to-Peer (P2P) voice and video features, audio/video data is transmitted directly between users. We do not record or store voice/video data. However, P2P technology requires your IP address to be exposed to other participants in the call to establish the connection. If you join a Server-Routed (SFU) Orbit, your traffic is routed through our servers, and your IP address remains hidden from other users.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
GamerNova strictly uses essential cookies and local storage tokens to maintain your login session and store basic UI preferences (like dark mode). We do NOT use third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with necessary service providers (e.g., our server hosts at Hetzner) strictly for operational purposes.
7. Your Rights under GDPR
As a resident of the European Union, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request the rectification of incorrect data.
- Request the complete erasure of your data (Right to be Forgotten).
You can completely and permanently delete your account, along with all messages, files, and communities, autonomously using the "Danger Zone" in your Profile Settings.

We implement strong security measures, including HTTPS encryption and bcrypt password hashing, to protect your data against unauthorized access.

Wir speichern nur das, was für die Anzeige auf Ihrem GamerNova-Profil nötig ist. Sie können die Verknüpfung in Ihren Einstellungen jederzeit aufheben, woraufhin die Daten von unseren Servern gelöscht werden.
4. Sprach- und Videoanrufe (WebRTC)
Unsere kostenlosen Sprach- und Videochats nutzen Peer-to-Peer (P2P). Audio- und Videodaten werden direkt zwischen den Nutzern übertragen und von uns nicht aufgezeichnet. Technisch bedingt wird bei P2P-Verbindungen Ihre IP-Adresse für die anderen Anrufteilnehmer sichtbar, um die Verbindung aufzubauen. In Server-Routierten (SFU) Orbits läuft der Datenverkehr über unsere Server, wodurch Ihre IP-Adresse verborgen bleibt.
5. Cookies und Local Storage
GamerNova verwendet ausschließlich essenzielle Cookies und Local Storage, um Ihre Login-Sitzung aufrechtzuerhalten und UI-Einstellungen (z. B. Dark Mode) zu speichern. Wir verwenden KEINE Tracking- oder Werbe-Cookies von Drittanbietern.
6. Datenweitergabe
Wir verkaufen Ihre persönlichen Daten nicht. Daten werden nur an notwendige Dienstleister (z. B. unseren Server-Host Hetzner) zum Zwecke des technischen Betriebs weitergegeben.
7. Ihre Rechte (DSGVO)
Gemäß der Datenschutz-Grundverordnung haben Sie das Recht auf:
- Auskunft über Ihre gespeicherten Daten.
- Berichtigung inkorrekter Daten.
